2008 Rattlesnake Ridge Zinfandel
2008 Rattlesnake Ridge Zinfandel is youthful, but maturing into a wine of quiet intensity, emphasizing elegance and complexity. The flavor is deep, full of dark fruit notes of currant and black cherry, together with hints of licorice and tobacco. Aged in 100% new French Oak. This wine needs at least another year or two in the bottle, and it will still require decanting. 80% Zinfandel, 20% Petite Sirah. 14.5% Alcohol Harvested October 9, 2008. Bottled April 15, 2010 |  |
